Membership Policy

1. Upon signing this Membership Agreement, you are deemed to have accepted and understood the terms and conditions of the Company and any other rules and regulations which may be communicated from time to time through the official channels of the Company.

2. The Company reserves the right to make any amendments, variations and changes to such terms and conditions, which may be communicated to the members to the given email address.

3. As a member, you shall be entitled to use the resting area of the Company only during the Company’s operating hours.

4. In the event a member wishes to freeze his/her signed up training program, it can only be done ONCE upon request and discretion of the Company during the validity period of the training program. For the avoidance of doubt, the maximum extension of such training program is 2 months from the original expiry of the training program.

5. Generally, payment of fees is not refundable, however a refund is only possible subject always to the refund policy of the Company. You may seek confirmation from the person in charge for such refund policy.

6. As a member, your membership may be forfeited and disqualified, if you cause whether directly and/or indirectly cause harassment of any form, harm, injury, damage of any form and/or disgust to the other members of the Company, the instructors and/or any staff of the Company. In such event, you are required to indemnify the Company and/or hold the Company harmless against such claims which may arise as a result whether directly and/or indirectly, by your actions and/or omissions. In the event the Company decides to disqualify the member, there shall be no refund of fees already paid, even if the classes and/or programs have not been fully utilised.

7. The Company has a right to refuse membership or any renewals thereof.

8. The Member is required to be responsible of his/her own belongings and the Company shall not be responsible for any valuables being lost, stolen and/or damaged.

9. The member warrants that he/she shall take reasonable care of his/her own well-being while being in the premises of the Company and he/she understands and acknowledges that the Company shall be not responsible for any injuries caused while using the facilities of the Company.

10. The member shall not use any facilities and/or equipment without first obtaining the express permission of the Company’s instructors.

11. You shall be responsible for your own health conditions and shall first obtain the approval from your medical specialist before starting any exercise with Line Pilates (Helperson Global Sdn Bhd) and you confirm with Line Pilates (Helperson Global Sdn Bhd) that you do not have any medical and/or health condition which may put you and/or any other member of Line Pilates in danger.

12. For pregnant members, the Company hereby confirms that the Company is not in any position to provide medical advice and such pregnant members shall first obtain the approval of her own medical doctor prior to undertaking such classes with the Company. The Company shall not be responsible for any injuries and/or losses suffered.

13. The members confirm and acknowledges that any pictures taken for by the Company may be used for marketing purposes and may be shared in the Company’s social media platform. The Company shall not be liable for any claims of infringement of privacy.

14. In the event, the customer/member has omitted in the signing of this program sign up form and the membership agreement form, but the customer/member has commenced classes and paid for the programs and packages in full, the customer/member is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions herein.

Program Sign-up Policy

1. Upon signing a form, you shall be deemed to have accepted and understood the terms and conditions contained herein and also the terms and conditions contained in the membership form.

2. If you wish to re-schedule a private class, after having scheduled it, you shall notify your assigned instructor at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled time, failing which such re-scheduled class will be deducted from your pre-purchased sessions.

3. For 8:1 group classes, cancellations should be made through the Company’s booking site more than 24 hours in advance before the scheduled time of the class, failing which such session shall be deducted from your pre-purchased sessions.

4. If your assigned instructor is unable to conduct the class for any reason whatsoever, there shall be another instructor assigned to substitute the class and you are not entitled to any refund in the event of such a change.

5. You are aware and understand that each training program has its respective expiration and unused sessions which has exceeded the expiration date cannot be utilised.

6. Please take note that there is a validity period for each program/package signed up with the Company, there is a validity period which starts from: 

a. Private classes – the validity period will commence from the 1st physical class;

b. Group classes – the validity period will commence from the 1st booking date, i.e., the date on which the member books his/her classes through the Company’s booking website;

Note: Each program/package purchased from the Company must commence within 30 days from the date of purchase, regardless of whether the member has booked a class and/or started his/her private class.

7. This membership can only be used by the person who had signed up and paid for such training programs, however, upon request and absolute discretion of Line Pilates, a transfer of ownership of the membership is possible, subject always to a single transfer fee of RM200.00. It can only be done ONCE upon request. 

8. A refund is only possible one of the in the following circumstances:

a. Before attendance of the 1st Session. There will be 10% penalty from the total amount paid; or

b. After attendance of the 1st Session. There will be a 10% penalty from the total amount paid, in addition there will be a penalty imposed calculated on a daily basis from the start of exercise start date to the refund application date. The registration fee shall not be refundable.

Note: Promotional packages are strictly not refundable.

9. The member understands that there may be a risk of injury while undergoing the classes with the Company and the member warrants and represents to the Company that he/she is physically fit to undergo the classes in the Company and the Company shall not be responsible for any injuries as a result of the intensity of the training in the classes.

10. In the event, the customer/member has omitted in the signing of this program sign up form and the membership agreement form, but the customer/member has commenced classes and paid for the programs and packages in full, the customer/member is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions herein.  

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
